Purchase Information-

1. If you are interested in purchasing any of our horses, a non-refundable 20% deposit and signed contract will hold the horse or foal for you. We can not hold any of our horses unless deposit has been made, that will guarantee we hold the horse for only you. The deposit is our guarantee that you are serious about purchasing one of our horses and to prevent someone just having a change of heart when we could have possibly lost out on the sales of our horse to another client.

2. You will have two weeks free board and then a charge of 10.00 dollars per day will be applied every day until horse is transported to it's new home unless other arrangements have been agreed upon. Special circumstances for mares with foals at sides, in foal or the foals themselves as we believe in totally having the foal weaned and doing very well and adjusted for "at least" two weeks prior to transport. We will not send a stressed out foal from weaning to you. They all will be totally healthy and stress free before they leave. Our utmost concern is the well being of our horses and we reserve the right to ask you to have them stay longer "if" we decide they should.

3. We will be responsible for updated Coggins on the horse if an update is not in place, usually after deposit is made on one of our horses we will have our vet out (the two weeks free board will be plenty of time to get it done and back from the lab). Their feet will be regularly trimmed and in good order, they are on a worming schedule already in place. All annual shots will vary on each horse and we do not give shots to foals under 6 months of age. We do have in our program for our foals that they receive a booster of a colostrum supplement, vitamins and nutrients including probiotics at the age of one month old. We feel this is most important to our youngsters to receive this extra antibodies to protect them as the antibodies in the mares milk start to subside. It is proven in our breeding program to insure that out foals remain very healthy to fight off even a common cold as well as protecting them during the stress of weaning or trailering at a later date with their immune system being at top shelf!

Please Note: Any Heath Certificates, different State requirements for shots, Vet exams (welcomed), Insurance, etc. will be the responsibility of the buyer.

4. Buyer is responsible for all transportation costs and we make no guarantee on the horse after it has left the property of Running Wind Farms as we have no control over the well being, care and trucking of said horse after it has left our care. We are just trying to protect ourselves with this rule due to the fact that we are selling you a 100% sound horse unless otherwise stated and do not want to be held responsible for a new injury, lameness, unsoundness caused by loading, transport and unloading by the buyers or transport agent hired by the buyers.

5. Please make certain that your new purchase is a good decision for you and your new horse. We want the best for our horses, so please if you have any doubt that you can not properly care for your new horse or your not sure you can afford to properly care for your new horse, think it over again and be sure to do the right thing for both of you. We want only the best for our horses and you!

6. Our foals born on the farm as consistently handled, they will halter, lead, farrier friendly and be touched and groomed everywhere before you get them. They are trusting equines, however we want you to know that some foals will need some time to trust their new owner and home, a few days of "bonding" with your new foal will have them come around and trust you as much as they trust us here. After the few days of adjustment to the move, your trusting touch, they will pick up on all of these things rather quickly and be ready for their new adventure with you:) As always, any questions, feel free to ask us.

Take Note: We feed all of our Horses "Nutrena Safe Choice" for a High quality well balanced nutritional, low Carb pelleted feed for all stages and ages of our equine friends. If you would like to know more about this feed click here- http://www.nutrenaworld.com/Screens/Equine/Safe_Choice.aspx We are very happy with this feed, added biotin for the hooves as well and our horses have nice quality hay in front of them at all times.
